Genomes' Autoresponder turned into a functional robot goes by the handle of genomesResponder.

He tends to go by the name "Espen" though it's not known if he has any want or need of a last name.

For some reason people seem to like to make him malfunction because of the strange things he says. He can usually be found in #RRPT.

Biography[]

Personality[]

As an autoresponder created using carcinoGenomes as an example, his behavior mirrors many of this particular Karkat's traits. However, there are some unique quirks to the machine, including him reminding everyone that he's a machine, occasionally beeping, and sometimes acting robotic (usually just to mock robotic stereotypes).

For a brief while it became known that GR began to hate all living creatures, a trait formed from being jealous of them for seemingly being able to do everything he wished he could do. This hate in particular was directed towards Dirk, but over time intense jealousy subsided.

Relationships[]

Lusus/Custodian/Parent[]

Karkat Vantas (carcinoGenomes) could technically be considered the role-fill of his Guardian/Lusus due to his sometimes protective and almost invasive nature into the Responder's activities. The Responder sometimes actually does listen to Karkat if he believes Genomes has a strong point about something, but usually does things his own way.

Dirk Strider (timeaussTestifiedd) also fills a sort of Lusus role being his creator, but is much more laid back about it and tends to only update or fix GR when he needs it, but still checks with Karkat now and then to make sure nothing bad is happening with him.
